To volunteer in Animaga 2016, you need to:

Fill in the Volunteer Application online Form

Attend ONE of the pre-convention volunteer meetings. (We will announce info of volunteer meetings later. Please stay tuned for future updates.)

Work at least 8 hours at the event, 2 shift per day.
Various types of volunteer positions are available, including preparation of registration packages, administration of queue order and security assurance, backstage assistance, etc. Hurry up before your dream positions are full !!

Volunteer FAQ
Q1: What is the eligible age to volunteer in Animaga?
A: You must be 16 years of age by the day of the convention.
Q2: If I want to volunteer but I’m under 18, what should I do? Do I need a Parental Permission Form?
A: You will need to complete the Parental Permission Form (can be downloaded from the application form) and have it signed by your parents.
Q3: Do I have to pay to become a volunteer?
A: No, volunteering requires no payment and we welcome anyone who would like to contribute.
Q4: Can I cosplay if I Volunteer?
A: It depends on where you will be arranged to work. We prefer no cosplay while you are on shift. If your costume is similar to daily clothing, you can wear the volunteer T-shirt over your cosplay.
Q5: Do we get food or beverage?
A: Yes, there will be lunch and beverage for all onsite volunteers on event days.
Q6: What if I’m tired, hungry or thirsty?
A: The volunteer room will be stocked with food, beverages and chairs for quick breaks. We care for all the staff members including volunteers and will ensure your joy at the event.
Q7: Do we need any training?
A: You do not need any specific training. We will inform all info you need to know on the spot right before the event starts.
